 Comfortable for summer September 10, 2010

After suffering in the heat several times while wearing a skirt or dress, I decided that some good old fashioned cotton pettipants might be the answer. These were the best that I could find and I am quite happy with the purchase. My only issue was that they were way too long to wear under my summer attire. I cut them off just above the lace and hemmed them to the correct length. Not as pretty but much more functional. Good quality, true to size, washed and dried well. Very pleased that these solved my problem.

Love these,one of the best purchases I've made at Amazon. Ladies if you hate thigh rub, these work great. Planning on ordering more for other skirts/dresses in other colors. They are cool in the summer and I'm sure will be warm in the winter.

I'm thin and have never had problems with rubbing thighs in the heat but this summer, with the intense heat wave, I shied away from cooler dresses because of the discomfort of rubbing, sweaty thighs - ugh! These pettipants did the trick. They are light, comfortable and you don't even know you're wearing them. I bought them in black, beige and white and use them whenever I'm wearing a dress or a baggy pant. It was a good buy and I will purchase again.

I was looking for a cotton slip, wanting 100% cotton, but decided to go with these - being a cotton blend - because I liked the idea of pettipants much better than a regular slip. I was so disappointed when they arrived, they have no cotton in them at all! The tag says 100% polyamide and they feel just like nylon. Did I get sent a different product than the rest of you? or have you just not looked closely at your tags? I will keep and wear the two I ordered because the design is great and they feel nice. In fact, I will probably throw out all my old slips. But I will keep looking for cotton.
