Purchased unit from local Tractor Supply after the Kat's Magnetic oil pan heater failed after one day of use. Installation wasn't easy then unit failed the second time I turned it on. I suspect the Manufacture, Five Star Mfg. Co. has very poor quality control and has a very high rate of failure. Will remove and return for a refund and will not buy another Kat's Product.

I'm still trying to get this heater to work...I don't want it on all the time, so I have it set up on a timer. So far, 45 minutes on does not do much to get my heater going right away in the morning for the drive to work.
Installation was a pain for me. I have a compact car, so space was limited for me to work. It needs to be installed on the lower radiator hose, as close to the water pump as you can get.
