Product Description
Explores the life of a young Los Angeles actor, his close group of friends, and his agent.

Amazon.com
The sixth season of Entourage focuses on the title members rather than Vince (Adrian Grenier), the movie star they follow, which would have been a smart move had they been given more interesting story lines. Instead, Eric (Kevin Connolly) struggles with his startup agency and moons over his just-friends status with Sloan (Emmanuelle Chiriqui) while consoling himself with his needling neighbor Ashley (Alexis Dziena); Ari (Jeremy Piven) is gleefully hazing his assistant Lloyd (Rex Lee) for 100 days with the promise to make him a full agent should he survive; Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) enjoys a serious relationship with Jamie-Lynn Sigler (as herself) but tires of being seen as a hanger-on and decides to enroll in business school; Johnny Drama (Kevin Dillon), is, as usual, sabotaging a good thing (a starring role in Ed Burns's NBC drama). For Vince, however, the biggest thing to happen to him the entire season is… his house gets robbed. Without a film for Vince to work on (after doing The Great Gatsby for Martin Scorsese, Vince's next film is delayed) and no deals to negotiate, the show gets away from its most interesting setting, rendering it weaker as a result. The celebrity guest stars, however, punctuate the season with great self-effacing cameos, notably David Schwimmer, who curses his way through a pitch meeting in which every project has a bumbling role for him; Tom Brady, who paints a picture-perfect domestic life with supermodel wife Gisele ("Just come over to the house. She cooks."); and Matt Damon, who angrily haggles Vince to donate to a charity fundraiser in the season finale. A sleazebag Bob Saget makes another appearance as himself, as do Bono, Steve Nash, LeBron James, and Jay Leno. Two so-so behind-the-scenes features and audio commentaries by the cast and crew round out the special features. --Ellen A. Kim

3 out of 5 stars Addicted to the show - even if the wheels are just spinning   September 2, 2010

I've watched Entourage every season and own every season on DVD to this point. Yet, I find myself frustrated with the series, because it seems like the series is just spinning it's wheels.

We've followed Vince and the gang for years now and not really seen any character development outside of E. Season 6 in my eyes was pretty disappointing, but it still required in my collection of the series.

The special features run slim with this season, so I can't justify a review any higher than 3 stars. If you're a fan of the show and dedicated to collecting all the seasons (even if they aren't great), then its an obvious purchase. If you're looking to get into the show, don't let the $20 purchase price sway you - just rent it on Netflix.

2 out of 5 stars Nothing really happens   August 24, 2010

I've been a long follower for Entourage since the beginning and I have to say this particular season was the most disappointing of all. Nothing really happens, and with just 12 episodes it's quite disappointing. You're gonna $20-30 for this season and you'll finish watching the entire season in probably 2-3 days, and then you'll be thinking about selling it. It's a big waste of time.. although the final episode seemed interesting.

5 out of 5 stars It just gets better   August 24, 2010

The only thing I didn't love about this is that I knew the season would be over at some point. Brilliant

5 out of 5 stars Another Great Season!!!   August 19, 2010

What else can I say, but the Entourage cast pulled off another great season. And to top it off, it's on Blu-ray, so the picture quality is outstanding. Can hardly wait for Season 7...

3 out of 5 stars Going downhill   August 11, 2010

I've watched "Entourage" from the beginning and from the first fell in love with all the boys. I loved the plotlines and since it's filmed mostly in LA, I loved the whole concept. But this season, while still good, it is not up to snuff. Vince seems to only be a background character this season. None of the plotlines have revolved totally around him. Turtle has come to the front, about time, and Eric's love life and Drama's career has lots of play, but Vince seemed to just be there for one-liners.

And after the recent tirades by Mel Gibson, which made me sick, the way Ari yelled, screamed and insulted Lloyd sure didn't go down too well with me. Ari spent most of this season yelling his head off, and I never could figure out why he hated Lloyd so much.

I read someplace that next season will be the last. I think's it's probably time.
