5 out of 5 stars Love me new Vaccuum   July 27, 2010

Very pleased with my new Bissell Cleanview!! It does a great job at picking up everything. Can't be any happier with this product. Works great.

5 out of 5 stars Amazing Vac   July 21, 2010
Alicia Keenon (Phoenix, AZ USA)
User reviews were helpful when I chose this vacuum, which I've had for about two months now.

The amount of hair it sucks up is mind-boggling. You'd think I had never vacuumed before and considering the amount of hair I capture every time, it's a miracle that my cat has any fur left. The suction is clearly amazing, and the on-board tools work very well.

What I like most about this vac is that the canister is super easy to empty. You can easily remove all the sucky parts and wash them, including the foam filter. First you can see what you've captured, which gives a sense of vacuum accomplishment, and then you can clean everything so you can start anew. Awesome.

It's fairly easy to maneuver and to put away. I wish the chord were on the left, since I vacuum with my right, but that's minor.

Compared to my mom's super expensive vacuum cleaner, this Bissell is much, much better on so many levels. Definitely worth the very small price tag.

4 out of 5 stars Awesome vacuum   July 19, 2010

This vacuum is awesome, especially for how inexpensive it is.
Just to warn you- The one screw that must be put in during assembly, goes in through this really deep hole.. You'll need a long screwdriver, not one of those mini ones that are like a 2-inch handle and a 1-inch metal part.
I have had it for a few days now, and the screw isn't in (due to my lack of proper screwdriver) but it has stayed assembled through 2 uses so far.
This isn't the quietest vacuum, but definitely not lawnmower status.
One thing I have noticed, and maybe my floors were just dirty, but it fills up pretty fast. I vacuumed my bedroom and it filled up, then I vacuumed my hallway and office area and it filled up again (I have a cat and a dog, I'm sure that helped)

Overall, great vacuum with all the necessary attachments, works good, I'm glad I bought it.

4 out of 5 stars Great for the price   July 19, 2010

It's a standard vacuum. I like the filters and believe they do their job. The only issue is that the hose on the back falls down a lot. That is annoying but not worth sending it back. It is loud but if the air/heat is running the baby doesn't wake up. I'm sorry for this - It Really Sucks! Happy with this purchase. I don't have several hundred dollars to spend on a Dyson so it works great for me!

4 out of 5 stars Not bad for the money   July 9, 2010

We were looking for an inexpensive but not cheap vacuum (the previous one we had was also a Bissell but I got the cheapest one out there and it wasn't very good). You get what you pay for with this one, which I'm happy with. It's not the most quiet vacuum out there but it doesn't claim to be either. The suction is really good-picks up very well, which is what it's made for. It's also the easiest vacuum I've had to empty, which is huge for me. Not a messy ordeal and takes 2 seconds. It pushes fairly well-not the easiest but it's not bad. I've used a Dyson before and would've loved to get that but won't pay the money for it. This does the job well for what I paid.
