Amazon.com There's a rule in commercial pop: don't bite the hand that feeds you. Translation? If you're getting love on TRL, it's best leaving well enough alone and tinkering only slightly with the sound that pays your bills. So you have to give Pink a whole heap of credit. The Philly-raised songbird may have made her rep with infectious and rugged pop-R&B hits like "There You Go" and the remake of "Lady Marmalade," but like the fuchsia coif she once sported, that sound is gone. In its place is a more driving alt-rock attack, liberally laced with some late-night blues and heartfelt lyrics that, while they sometimes come off like diary entries (the simplistic bon mot "Your pain is painful" in "Family Portrait"), are clearly Pink's thoughts, as opposed to words someone put in her mouth. Helping Pink express her inner Alanis are Dallas Austin, who produced the insistent rocker "18 Wheeler," and former 4 Non Blonde Linda Perry, who Pink has resurrected from one-hit-wonder status. Mixing up thumping beats, ("Get the Party Started"), with folksy confessionals, Pink's potent vocals and her honest determination make this a risk worth hearing. --Amy Linden

Just Plain Irritating July 27, 2010 Amanda L. Davis (Adrian,MI USA) When will artists realize that "Nobody understands my pain. Nobody likes me. I am so misunderstood and unapreciated" is not a good act to try to make a career out of. Pink is just trying to sell the rebel rocker thing too hard here. The only song I like is "Just Like a Pill," and don't ask me why I even like that. Her first CD was so much better.
favorite pink album June 23, 2010 Deann Redmiles this album rocks, tunes are catchy and fun, got great beat and great heartfelt messages.
always a great album to listen to while driving.

zroks March 30, 2010 Movie Critic Wannabe (NE, Usa) She rocks! Love every song on the CD. Usually have one or two that I don't like...but not on this CD!
Wow January 7, 2010 B. A. Parenteau I am only slightly familiar with Pink's music because it is used for Jazzercise routines somewhat often. I really loved one song on this album, so bought for that particular song. I was pleasantly surprised that I liked quite of few of the tracks. Amazon music is always fairly priced and it's vendors are reputable and also quick. That is great in my book of positive things about Amazon.
Where Have I Been?!? September 29, 2009 Josetta (Bay Area, California) Ok. I saw a biography about P!nk on VH1 the other day. I so enjoyed it that I decided to buy three of her albums. I just listened to "Can't Take Me Home" and am now listening to "Missundaztood." And, will next listen to "Funhouse." All I can ask myself is "why didn't you buy her when she came out in 2000?!?" Her lyrics resonate with me. Thus far, her CDs have been a real treat!
