A gift for my 24 yr old sister - She loves this camera! September 2, 2010 Karen A. For the most part, this camera is good. It's easy to use, it gets a little stuck when trying to move to view the next picture but all in all it is a good camera. Takes really good pictures. I prefer a Canon but not bad for young people.
Good to bad. July 16, 2010 cecelane I got this wonderful camera, it was simple to use and two weeeks later it quit working. Very disappointed.
not a techy June 1, 2010 Fifi (Pa) This camera was a gift so I really didn't do any research on it before I received it. I am not very good at reading directions until AFTER I've attempted to figure things out on my own, so having said that, this is a pretty cool camera. Of course, the looks are awesome, and the functionality is great, if you don't do things backwards like me! It does have a problem with the scrolling going too fast and seemingly out of control like it has a mind of it's own sometimes, but if you just stop and let it settle, it only takes a second. I would have liked to have a longer battery life or have the option of using AA's in a pinch.
I like the quality of the pictures, once you know how to use it. Still finding features I didn't know it had. A year ago, I received it about a week before a trip to Isreal and those pix are awesome!
The picture automatically turning when you turn the camera is a cool option, but I would like to lock it sometimes and I haven't figured that out or even if it's possible.
ok for a short-time use April 6, 2010 N. Salazar (Phoenix, AZ USA) Since this is my ONLY camera, this goes haywire after 8 months. It shuts down every time after you take a shot, the video plays when your trying to flip the through the thumbnails, 50/50 on the quality of the pics and videos, and now I'm waiting for what else this camera has for more headaches. So I recommend this camera ONLY if you'll be getting a better camera really soon or have this camera as a back-up.
These cameras should be the next disposable cameras sold in souvenir shops because these would sell great!
nikon cooolpix s60 February 19, 2010 david s niakamal (rancho santa margarita, CA United States) This was a used camera and I received it in the mail. The battery would not charge up. I used another nikon charger to see if it was the battery or the charger. It was the charger. I sent the charger back and another was sent to me in the mail. Its not from the original manufaturer (Nikon). The camera has turned out to be ok, but the moral of the story is to pay a the extra $ and get it new, at least when it comes to cameras.
