An Excellent Value May 18, 2010 wrbtu (Long Island Motor Parkway) While these aren't what I'd call "dental" quality, they're an excellent value for the money. I use them for prying small objects out of tight places, & they serve that function very well. They're sturdy, have reasonably long handles, & differently shaped heads, all of which makes them useful for my purpose. And at less than $1.00 each, they're a great buy. However, for actual use as a dental pick, I wouldn't be able to use them. The heads are too short, & not nearly thin enough. I'll stick with my "real" dental picks, which are finished finer, but which are much more expensive.
NOT FOR MEDICAL OR DENTAL USE March 16, 2010 Valerie 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
First of all, these are strictly NOT for dental use, or any kind of medical use. It says so right on the package. Only the tips are stainless steel, the handles are cheaply plated and mine are chipping all over already even though I just opened the package. I'll probably throw them away in case they have lead in the silver paint/plating, because it is getting everywhere. They were cheap, so my expectations were low, but if I saw these beforehand I would not have ordered, and return shipping would be more than I paid.
Awesome March 11, 2010 Inaru (Puget Sound Area, WA, USA) I used this to clean my teeth, and the first time, it felt like I'd been to the dentist. It really pries off plaque! Definitely good to have for dental maintenance. Nice selection - more than I need - so I passed a couple of them on to other folks who are priced out of dental-care for the moment.
Weapons Cleaning Picks February 4, 2010 Skip W. (Republic of Texas) I bought these thinking they would work well for dental hygiene, but they don't. The pick quality is not the best and the metal handles are hard to orient and use for personal dental care. They do, however, work great for cleaning weapons and as hobby tools. For that use the price is reasonable and they work well.
Product is not bad ! December 10, 2009 Lidia Porada (Detroit)
Shipping was very fast, but product not that great. The metal is kind of soft and bends.
