Another great Smart Girls game January 6, 2009 K. Prandy (Storrs, CT USA) These Smart Girls games are great. There are a lot of things to do, lots of learning games, and it is easy for those younger kids who can't quite read yet. My daughter is 5, and I bought her a Smart Girls game when she was 4. She loves it and plays with it a lot, so when I saw a new one I grabbed it for the holidays. She was so excited to get another one. I played around with it and was happy to see all the different things she can do. Connect the dots, coloring, photo games, etc. Keeps her busy on trips so we don't hear "are we there yet?" and helps her wind down at the end of the day. I will continue to purchase the smart girls series, and she would probably even like the smart boys as well. Great game.
EXCELLENT January 4, 2009 J. Zimmerman (Seward, PA United States) Got this for my 4-year-old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. Did everything on her own without saying "mom, what does this say." Even my 7-year-old son likes it, but shhh, don't tell anyone :)
Another Great Smart Girl's Title December 2, 2008 Alanna Evans 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great entry into the Smart Girl's series. It's basically a mini game collection setup in a large dollhouse. Click parts of the house (all named) to start a mini game. My (nearly) four year old especially loves: RING TOSS (use the stylus to toss rings to "catch" prizes - winning a prize makes the kitty at the top of the screen happy) the COLORING game (various animated bits that you can draw around, such as a mouse peeping out of a door, or a hat being blown in the wind) GARDENING GAME (plant seeds of various shapes and then water them to watch flowers glow, when all are grown they dance) WHEN I GROW UP (match the baby animal to the one it will look like when it grows up such as - baby lion/adult lion)
and there are many more, including a free play xylophone game that lets you record your songs and play them back, and a bell game where you can either freestyle ring the various bells or else choose two different background music pieces to play along with. There are other shape and matching games and so much more.
It's a great game for its value and has tons of things to keep your little one happy. The graphics are bright and colorful with cute animals and happy flowers. The game gives vocal encouragement for every successfully completed task, and the music is simple but entertaining.
A great game for the ages 3 to 5 set and highly recommended by me and my daughter.
Great game for my little ones at home! December 1, 2008 Shannon Seung Min (California) So I actually decided to give my kids an early Christmas present and they now love their DS more than me! I read some great reviews on Smart Girl's Playhouse and after doing some research, decided to get my daughter the new sequel, Smart Girl's Party Game. My 5 year old daughter has been literally glued to her seat playing this game. I was actually going through the game myself and by far, this has been one of my best investments. I bought the Smart Boy's Toys Club for my 3 year old son and him and his sister fight over the DS all day. I just need to get another DS now...
